Thanksgiving 2024

I have not updated anything for more than 2 years!!!! I need to come back and do more work.

Here are what I had for my Thanksgiving this year. I invited friends over and this was their first time celebrating Thanksgiving with traditional American food. They LOVED everything I cooked and realized turkey can be delicious too!

Turkey

As usual I used Alton Brown’s brined turkey recipe. I won’t even try to use any other recipe! Look at the color, so gorgeous!

String bean I also used Alton brown’s recipe. But instead of home make onion, I used store bought fried onion.

Stuffings

Lobster salad

Steam lobster and get all the meat out. Cut the lobster meat into small pieces.

Have some fruits and cut them into the same sizes like lobster. I used mango, apple, avocado and pineapple.

The sauce was made of Mayo, condensed milk (3:1 ratio), I also add a little bit of wasabi mustard to have a kick of spiciness to it. I do recommend adding it you will love it, but if you don’t like wasabi you can have Dijon mustard instead.

Carrots with maple syrup

Brussel sprout with bacon

Mashed potato
